PROPERTIES

  • Associated Level: Main Floor (T.O. Sheathing)
  • Orientation: True North
  • View Scale: As large as will fit on a sheet (up to ¼” = 1’-0”)
  • Cut Plane: High enough to not cut toposurface, Bottom and view depth = unlimited, top= unlimited
    • Create a Plan Region encompassing the building and set cut plane to 4′ to capture first floor windows and doors
  • Set drawing to raster printing (so that transparency will print correctly)
  • Phase Filter: Project Completion, Phase: New Construction
  • View Template: Site Plan – Land Use
    • Toposurface: transparency at 100%, label contours
    • Patios (these will likely be above cut plane, so may need to use linework)
    • Driveways, walkways, rockeries, existing decks, and other physical site features

Labels

  • House Label: ex, “Existing House”, “House Addition”, “New 2 Story Detached Accessory Dwelling Unit” (Title Text, center alignment)
  • Topography contour label
  • Slope direction arrows
  • Heavy Dashed line around Extents of work- label “Heavy Dashed line indicates….”
  • Trees (existing to remain/ to be removed)
  • Accessory buildings/ sheds
  • outline roof overhangs with Detail Lines (overhead/ existing overhead) and label
  • Utility Lines – Sewer Line/ Water Line/ Power Lines & Condiuts)

Dimensions

  • Setbacks (Site Dimension (arrows)) add text to the side or below (Depending on length) “Side Yard”, “Rear Yard”, “Front Yard”
  • Building Dimensions (Site dimensions)- overalls + dimension to property line, jogs in building
  • Right of Way (Dimension beyond crop)
