Call Sheet:
Convert hours to correct format: [Cell]*24/60
Notes: “Call with “&[Cell]
Date display: highlight all columns, change format to [3/14/2023], then highlight all columns select Data>Text to Columns>Finish
Call Log Steps:
- Open current month Call Logs (Admin>Time Records> ex: “23.10”) and sort Name column from A-Z
- Copy previous month’s Call Timesheet into current month Folder
- don’t delete data, move previous months data over to the right in the sheet for reference (some client/project info may be applicable to this month)
- Copy and Paste Name column into Timesheet off to the side in workspace, convert names using Notes Display shortcut (“Call with “&[Cell]), paste values into Notes column in the table
- Copy and Paste Date column into Timesheet off to the side in workspace, convert dates into correct format using Date Display shortcut, paste values into Date column in the table
- Copy and Paste Time column into Timesheet off to the side in workspace, convert to hours format using shortcut (*24/60), paste values into Time column in the table, decrease decimals to two (.00)
- Highlight all calls that are less than 0.01 hrs in gray- those can be ignored and deleted at the end.
- Copy and Paste Client/Project/Tasks that match client name in the notes from previous month data. If the call is from a client or builder with multiple projects, highlight in yellow to double check with Ian that the correct project is shown. Check names and logged project time in Harvest for new/unknown projects
