Restarting a Paused Project

Use this procedure when you start working again on a project that hasn’t been touched in a week or longer.
NOTE: this process does not apply to projects that have been Frozen (submitted for permit or marked by management as being locked-in to an older set of graphics standards).
Step-By-Step Process
- (UPGRADE REVIT VERSION): If the project isn’t using the company’s most up-to-date version of Revit, upgrade the model and save it under the company’s newest version (note: this won’t always be the newest version of Revit available – management will decide when the company moves to a new version of Revit). If the project is a teamwork file, also recreate the teamwork file on the Revit server for the new version.
- RUN GRAPHICS STANDARDS SCRIPTS: Run the “Full Update” add-in script. This will update the project families, graphics standards, and view templates to the current state of the art.
